By accessing avbase.org (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) and legally permitted to view adult-oriented content where you reside. If access to such material is unlawful in your location, you must not use the Service.

3. Nature of the Service

AVBase is a search interface that aggregates publicly available metadata (titles, identifiers, sizes, magnet URIs) from third-party sources, primarily sukebei.nyaa.si. We do not host, transmit, or distribute any media files. All actual content remains the responsibility of its respective upstream operators and uploaders.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• circumvent rate-limits, scraping protections, or other technical measures;
• use automated tools to crawl the Service at a rate that degrades availability for others;
• use the Service in violation of any applicable law in your jurisdiction;
• use the Service to harass, defame, or violate the privacy of any individual;
• resell, white-label, or commercially redistribute Service output without permission.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service's source code and original assets are owned by the operator. Indexed metadata belongs to its respective rights holders; we make no claim to it. Trademarks shown on linked third-party sites belong to their owners.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the legality, accuracy, or safety of any indexed listing.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use of the Service.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator from any claim arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes shall be submitted to the courts having jurisdiction over the operator's domicile.
